The 12th European Workshop on Structural Health Monitoring (EWSHM 2026) took place in Toulouse, France, from July 7 to 10, 2026. The conference is considered Europe’s leading forum for structural health monitoring and brings together researchers and industry experts to discuss current developments in the fields of monitoring technologies, damage detection, sensor technology, data-driven methods, and structural integrity.
A team from the Institute of Structural Analysis (ISD) at Leibniz University Hannover presented several research papers from the Vibrations Department in Toulouse. These included recent work from the Living Lab 70 GW Offshore Wind, which addresses research questions related to the structural monitoring of offshore wind turbines and other current topics from the living lab’s work.
The exchange with the international SHM community provided valuable insights for further research in the living lab and underscores the close ties between our research and the international academic community.
