The event, organized by ForWind Hannover, was the first face-to-face meeting of all project participants since the official start of the project in October 2024. <\/p>\n<p data-start=\"658\" data-end=\"889\">Almost all of the newly recruited researchers have now started work and all sub-projects are being implemented. Representatives from all five innovation areas presented the current status of their research: <\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"891\" data-end=\"1029\">\n<li data-start=\"891\" data-end=\"909\">\n<p data-start=\"893\" data-end=\"909\"><strong data-start=\"893\" data-end=\"909\">Society<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"910\" data-end=\"936\">\n<p data-start=\"912\" data-end=\"936\"><strong data-start=\"912\" data-end=\"936\">Maritime spatial planning<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"937\" data-end=\"965\">\n<p data-start=\"939\" data-end=\"965\"><strong data-start=\"939\" data-end=\"965\">Life cycle management<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"966\" data-end=\"1003\">\n<p data-start=\"968\" data-end=\"1003\"><strong data-start=\"968\" data-end=\"1003\">System integration &amp; aerodynamics<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1004\" data-end=\"1029\">\n<p data-start=\"1006\" data-end=\"1029\"><strong data-start=\"1006\" data-end=\"1029\">Marine impact<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"1031\" data-end=\"1663\">A central concern of the meeting was interdisciplinary exchange. In several breakout sessions, participants discussed cross-cutting issues arising from the various areas of innovation across teams. This resulted in initial joint reflections on, for example, how <strong data-start=\"1349\" data-end=\"1381\">changing climate and weather conditions<\/strong> could affect future research and planning, the potential and challenges associated with the <strong data-start=\"1488\" data-end=\"1528\">multiple use of offshore areas<\/strong> and how <strong data-start=\"1558\" data-end=\"1595\">values and social goals<\/strong> can be better integrated into the transformation of the energy system.  <\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1665\" data-end=\"1858\">The quarterly meeting made a significant contribution to strengthening mutual understanding, developing cross-institutional perspectives and making new joint issues visible.<\/p>\n<hr data-start=\"1860\" data-end=\"1863\">[\/et_pb_text][\/et_pb_column][\/et_pb_row][\/et_pb_section]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On June 18, 2025, the second quarterly meeting of the Reallabor 70 GW Offshore Wind took place in the historic premises of the Royal Stables in Hanover.
