In the summer semester of 2025, ForWind welcomed numerous interested visitor groups to the WindLab<\/strong>. Guided tours and discussions gave participants an insight into wind energy research and the working methods and objectives of the Living Lab 70 GW Offshore Wind<\/strong>. <\/p>\n Visitor groups included school pupils<\/strong> interested in study and career paths in the field of renewable energies, interested citizens on public tours<\/strong> and delegations from politics, associations and business<\/strong>.<\/p>\n In addition to the presentation of the research infrastructure and the work of ForWind, the main focus was on the question of how research is carried out in a living lab – i.e. interdisciplinary, practical and in exchange with different social stakeholders. It became clear what role the Living Lab 70 GW Offshore Wind plays in scientifically supporting and actively shaping the energy transition in the German Bight. <\/p>\n The positive response from the visitor groups shows the great interest in transparent science, innovative research approaches and the importance of living labs as an interface between research, practice and society.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n In the summer semester of 2025, ForWind welcomed numerous interested visitor groups to the WindLab.
