In May 2025, Prof. Dr.-Ing. Torsten Schlurmann<\/strong>, member of the ForWind Board of Directors and spokesperson for the 70 GW Offshore Wind real-world laboratory, took part in the panel discussion “Innovations and perspectives for the environmentally friendly expansion of offshore wind energy”<\/strong> as part of the BWO event Future Offshore 2025<\/em>.<\/p>\n In his speech, Prof. Schlurmann not only highlighted the research activities of the Ludwig-Franzius-Institute for Hydraulic, Estuarine and Coastal Engineering and the Coastal Research Center within ForWind – he also took the opportunity to present the interdisciplinary Living Lab 70 GW Offshore Wind<\/strong>.
